Well it’s been awhile and it’s time to catch up on my recipes. Just after the flood in Calgary we hosted a couple of house warming parties. They turned out really well and I had a blast. At both parties we served meatballs as an appetizers and they were a big hit. If you have been following my blog you may notice that the turkey meatballs are the same recipe as the turkey burgers. Delicious no matter what size they come in.
Turkey Meatballs
1 lb. ground turkey meat
1 medium red onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup fresh parsley, minced
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Swiss cheese
Mix ingredients together and form small balls (about 2 tablespoons). This makes a large batch. I was able to freeze one half for the second party. Place on a baking sheet or a pyrex glassware. Bake at 350 degrees celsius for 30 minutes.
After they are done place on top of a slice of pita bread, a slice of swiss cheese, and a garnish. Yummy!

Greek meatballs
1lb. ground chicken
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 minced clove of garlic
1/2 tsp of basil
1/2 tsp of oregano
1/4 cup feta
Salt & pepper to taste
Prepare and cook the same way you do the turkey meatballs. Served slider style on mini whole wheat pitas with tzatziki sauce.
This recipe I got off of Pinterest, however there was no link to the recipe. Whoever created the recipe, thanks.
I swear to god I took pictures but I can’t seem to track them down. I will have to update photos when I make them again đŸ™‚
